We invite you to participate in the All-Ukrainian scientific conference "Actual problems of social and humanitarian sciences" to be held at 10.07 in 2012 conference devoted to 20th anniversary of the Faculty of Humanities of the National Metallurgical Academy of Ukraine (Dnepropetrovsk).

Conference will be held October 7-8, 2012 in the conference room NMetAU (Dnepropetrovsk, Gagarina av., 4). Registration - October 7 from 10.00 to 11.00 in the hall near the conference room. The beginning of the conference - 11.00.
Languages: Ukrainian, Russian and English.

Within implementation of the international Tempus project “Boosting the knowledge triangle by establishing Innovation Offices in Ukrainian higher education institutions” UNI4INNO (www.uni4inno.eu) the Centre of Innovation, Commercialization and Entrepreneurship was established at the NMAU.The website of the Center www.nmetau.edu.ua/cice was launched in November 2011. Currently, the information on the website is provided in English (Ukrainian version of the website will be available soon).

Website of the Centre was launched to provide the legal, consultative, informative and practical support for research and teaching staff, students and graduates in questions of innovative activities, commercialization of research projects and support of entrepreneurship among alumni.

 May 22- 25, 2012 in exhibition center "Kozak Palace"  the X International exhibition "Machinery building. STEEL 2012 ".

DESU-approved textbook titled "Business activities analysis: theory, methods, analysis of specific cases, business play simulating iron and steel plant", authored mostly by teachers of the Accounting and Auditing department (N.Shpankovs'ka, G.Korol, Yu.Raspopova, Yu.Trush) took the 2nd place in the contest of 2008-2011 academic editions.

   The book assembles interdisciplinary works by researchers from different countries worldwide (Austria, Brazil, France, India, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, Romania, Serbia, Ukraine, USA), working in various science domains, related to sintering of the materials – from iron ore sinter to composite materials.
